Tony,

You nailed it here!!! I share the same experience since I’ve been a system engineer for the past 8 years, supporting those ID10T users as well as those that are more knowledgeable. But the conclusion to me has always been – if you don’t like something just don’t use/pay it. It was your choice to pick the service, so you have the right to cancel it!!! But it’s hard to believe you’ll find a better service too.

Feel free to provide your own level of support in response to a question which really doesn’t give enough information to do anything else but respond like I did. Anyone who has ever worked in a support organization (which I have) knows how impossible it is to respond when the problem statement doesn’t have sufficient data. Saying that a product sucks is a subjective statement founded on personal experience which we know nothing about. And yes, I do blame some issues on users. There’s no doubt that poor user knowledge is the root cause of many IT problems.

Way to defend a shitty product. Blame it on the user.

a) I don’t know what Microsoft 365 plan you’re referring to. It sounds like a personal plan. b) You’re asked to sign in to make sure that your data stays secure. c) If you don’t want to pay for a Microsoft 365 plan, there are free alternatives (like Outlook.com). Free software comes with even less support.
