They expect the meeting invite functionality like Outlook, but don’t want the Organizer to be a person.

Any recommendations for how to best use the calendar/meeting function within Teams/Outlook?

Maybe it will all be good in the Teams 2.0 architecture…

Looking back I think it is about 15 years already that users ask for easy out-of-the-box capabilities to drag-n-drop their e-mail messages within Outlook in a virtual SharePoint folder or documentset. It has been a ‘market opportunity’ for all those years, well understood by the Colligo’s, OnePlaceMails, HarmonIe’s and several more vendors of this planet.

Why does Microsoft make it so hard for those enjoying or needing case-files (storing documents AND e-mail in context, also easy for retention) in their SP teamsites to get those messages ‘seamlessly’ from A to B?

My experience so far with the Outlook to Teams option is that it is clumsy, not intuitive and basically adding the mail message to a channel or chat is not what I wanted in the first place.

The biggest pain for me is not being able to drag & drop attachments from Outlook to Teams. You have to manually save it off first, then upload it to Teams. Not seemless
