They seem to work only for eas but not for olk mobile. Intune too lacks these capabilites.

Is anyone working on fixing the Outlook Mobile app’s functionality with iOS Contacts?

You’re absolutely correct that the Outlook app is less functional for Contact integration. That’s always the case for third-party apps that don’t have the same close integration with the O/S as first-party apps do. However, I think its calendar integration is top-notch, especially when dealing with aspects like Teams meetings.

That’s the loudest complaint from our users.

That’s certainly an opinion (that EAS mail clients aren’t used in large deployments due to the security risk). Unhappily for the theory, the evidence of the transition away from basic authentication indicates that tens of millions of iOS mail clients (and many other EAS mail clients) are running inside Microsoft 365 tenants today… and not all SME tenants.

For this reason, most larger organizations don’t allow anything other than Outlook on mobile, all your points are valid but more applicable to SMEs since security wins in larger orgs. Thanks
